NINGBO ALA RICE WINE CO., LTD. was formerly Xinqi Brewery, which was founded in 1986. In 2002, it acquired and merged the state-owned Ningbo Dongfeng Brewery, which was founded in 1908. It has a brewing history of more than 100 years. The company is located at No. 16-18, Yongjiang Road, Beilun District, Ningbo City, only 3 kilometers away from the world's largest port, Ningbo Port, with obvious export transportation advantages. In 2004, in order to implement the brand strategy, it was officially renamed "NINGBO ALA RICE WINE CO., LTD.". The company has a registered capital of 292 million yuan and more than 150 employees. It has three major factory areas: Yongjiang Road High-quality Yellow Wine Production Base, Xidong Base Wine Warehouse, and Lingnan Central Wine Warehouse, with a total area of more than 150 acres and a construction area of 100,000 square meters. It is now a leading enterprise in the production of alcoholic products in Ningbo, vice president of Zhejiang Wine Industry Association, and president unit of Ningbo Food Industry Association. It is also one of the top five enterprises in my country's yellow wine industry in terms of production capacity and one of the largest private enterprises in China.

The company has ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO22000 and other quality management system certifications, environmental management system certifications and HACCP food safety system certificates, and BRCGS global standard food safety certification. The "Ala Laojiu" brand has been recognized as a famous brand product in Zhejiang Province, a well-known business in Zhejiang Province, and a time-honored brand in Zhejiang Province. It is a green enterprise in Zhejiang Province and a model (green) factory for environmental protection in Ningbo City. The company's products have won the government quality award and have won many honors such as "China's Historical and Cultural Famous Wine", "Silver Award of Brussels International Wine Evaluation Conference", "The Only Designated Yellow Wine of Canton Fair", "Zhejiang Yellow Wine Classic Product", and "Zhejiang Yellow Wine Excellent New Product". It is the only municipal fermentation engineering research center in Ningbo. In recent years, it has successively developed scientific research projects and invention patents such as the "Biological Fermentation Method for the Production of Red Date Yellow Wine", "Specially Made Nutritional Yellow Wine", and "Application of Flow Addition Technology in Yellow Wine Fermentation Process". On the basis of summarizing the experience of predecessors, the fermentation mechanism of Ningbo wine is scientifically analyzed and studied, and modern science and technology are combined with the traditional skills of Ningbo wine to comprehensively summarize and improve the overall quality and image of Ningbo wine.

While adhering to traditional craftsmanship, our company has focused on implementing technological innovation and equipment transformation, introducing computer technology, sensor technology and biotechnology into the field of brewing, and realizing microcomputer control, pipeline transportation, mechanized operation and the use of large-scale stainless steel tank fermentation technology. The company integrates R&D, production and sales. Its main products cover hundreds of products in five categories, including yellow wine, white wine, fruit wine, cooking wine and other fermented wine. The dynamic fermentation control system with automated digital intelligent control is unique in the national yellow wine industry. The quality of yellow wine is stable, and the unique dynamic fermentation control technology makes Ala Laojiu delicious and not intoxicating. The yellow wine produced has a high wine yield and low comprehensive energy consumption, with an annual brewing capacity of 60,000 tons; it has 6 domestic advanced filling lines, which can simultaneously meet the filling production of different types of products such as pots, barrels, bottles and carbonated products, with an annual filling capacity of 100,000 tons. The company has an inventory of more than 30,000 tons of rice wine base liquor of various vintages; and an inventory of more than 2,000 tons of fermented green plum wine, osmanthus wine, peach wine, red date wine and other fruit wine base liquors.

Under the leadership of Fu Qinfeng, the company's chairman (one of the top ten brewing masters in Zhejiang), the company has trained a professional team composed of national-level yellow wine judges, national yellow wine expert group experts, senior brewing technicians, and more than 20 middle and senior engineering and technical personnel of various types.


The products have a deep customer base in East China for drinking rice wine, cooking wine (including OEM products) and fruit wine products; with more than 20 years of export experience in foreign trade exports, various cooking wines, fermented fruit wines, rice wines and other products are sold well in more than 50 countries and regions such as Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. It has now become China's largest rice wine exporter, exporting more than 1,000 containers of various alcoholic products annually, and exporting more than 10,000 tons of alcoholic products annually. At present, the company has developed a series of light-alcohol beverages that are deeply loved by young consumer groups, such as low-alcohol fresh-brewed rice wine, sparkling sake, sparkling rice wine, fermented green plum wine, osmanthus wine, whiskey, etc., which enrich the company's product line.

The brand building of its "Ala Laojiu" has begun to bear fruit, and its brand influence is increasing year by year. Through continuous development and intensive cultivation in the market, it has initially established a wine marketing pattern of "taking Ningbo and Zhoushan as the core, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai as the basis, radiating the whole country, and exporting overseas". "Ala Laojiu" was selected as "Top 100 Ningbo Brands in 2024" by the China Brand Research Center, with an estimated brand value of 2.54 billion yuan.
