1908

The late Qing Dynasty

A group of highly skilled winemakers set up a small winery named "Dingfeng" in a coastal town of Ningbo, once again raising the banner of the inheritance of Ningbo-style yellow wine.

1959

During the socialist reform movement

The former Dingfeng Distillery was merged into the public-private joint venture Yongfeng Distillery in 1956. In 1959, it was upgraded to a state-owned Ningbo Yongfeng Distillery, and later it was renamed Ningbo Dongfeng Distillery.

1986

Beilun Chengfeng Brewing Co., Ltd.

In 1986, the Xingkao Brewery (Ningbo Beilun Chengfeng Brewing Co., Ltd.) was established.

2004

Ningbo Ala Rice Wine Co., Ltd.

During the reform of state-owned enterprises, Feng Qinfeng successfully took over Dongfeng Distillery. In 2004, it was officially renamed Ningbo Alar Distillery Co., Ltd. "Dingfeng" was the predecessor of Alar's old brand of wine.
